How do I begin? Once you complete our online sign-up form, we will contact you via phone to schedule your first laundry pick-up. At that time, we will discuss your laundry needs, collect credit card information and answer any questions you might have.
When do I pay? For our laundry packages, your card will be charged when we contact you to schedule your first delivery. For college students, your card is charged only once at the beginning of each semester. For residential/commercial clients, you are billed/charged at the beginning of your service and then monthly after that. Credit card information is kept on file to charge for additional services and/or replacement of laundry bag. For our drop off service, you are charged at the time of pick up.
When do I get my laundry back? Standard turn around time is 48 hours. Items needing stain-treatment may cause a delay in the return items after the 48 hour period.
What if I need my laundry faster? We offer a rush service (usually in 24 hours or less) for an additional $10.00.
Do I need to separate my laundry? There is no need to separate your colors and whites. You should make sure that socks are not balled up together and that there aren't clothes inside of clothes to prevent color runs and to help ensure the best cleaning possible. We also suggest that women use garment bags for their bras and underwear to prevent damage and potential loss from the laundry machines (due to some of these garments being so small). We ask that you ensure all items have been removed from your pockets prior to pick-up. In the event that we do find items in your pockets, we will place them in an envelope/zip-lock bag and return it with your bag.
What about specialty clothing items and/or brand new items? If you would like something special done with your clothes, we will be more than happy to comply if possible. We will air dry, low heat dry, wash in delicate cycle, and wash separately. Simply put a note in your laundry bag with specific instructions and separate the specific garments you want special care for within your laundry bag . Note that if an item has "dry clean only" on the label, we will not wash the item when we are able to identify and will not be responsible for any damage to the "dry clean" only garment if it does get washed. If we are washing a color garment for the first time (i.e. has never been washed before), we will be happy to wash it separately to prevent color runs as long as the garment has been identified within your laundry bag.
What about drying my laundry? Will it shrink? If you are worried about something shrinking and don't want it to be dried, just put a note with a description of the article and request that it be air-dried (There is an extra charge for air drying, $1.00 per item). These items may come back damp with your regular delivery, but this will definitely avoid any possible shrinkage. There may be some shrinking with certain fabrics and especially with newer clothes.
How can I be sure that nothing is missing? We inventory each items using our "laundry checklist" and we will use that form throughout the wash process to help ensure nothing is missing. If you think something is missing, tell us and we will immediately investigate. However, all claims of missing clothes must be made within three days of laundry delivery or we will not be liable. We will reimburse you an amount equal to your proof of purchase amount, limited to a maximum of $100.00 and a maximum total of $200.00 per customer.
Can I get my clothes ironed? Yes! The cost for ironing is $3 per garment. Simply tell us which item(s) need ironed and your starch preference, and we'll press/steam according to your specifications.
How much laundry fits into one of our bags? Our standard laundry bag holds up to 20lbs of laundry which is about 2 loads of laundry. If you have more laundry than will fit in your bag, contact us we can make arrangements to handle your increase.
What about stains on clothing? Please identify the specific garments that require treatment along with the type of stain. We can not guarantee the stain(s) will get removed.
Are my clothes washed with out customers? For the most part, each bag is processed by itself. We will never clean your clothes with another customer’s clothing. The only time when will wash laundry together is for our "roommate package" or "house/apartment special" for college students.
What if I miss my laundry pickup? We are flexible. If you miss your day, your laundry can be picked up later in the week for an additional fee of $5.00, as long as you contact us and request a pickup time. You can also drop it off at our location for no extra charge.
Do I need to be home for laundry pickup and delivery? No. If you have previously arranged with us (in writing) to pickup or leave your laundry in a secure location (doorstep, porch, patio, reception desk etc.) there is no need for you to be home for either.
